celebrities, in the weirdest way

In the States people do not all have the same hair and  skin  color. In Panda Land, they pretty much do. Now, it's not true that everyone looks the same! It really really isn't! But, there are certainly some common features shared by most, if not all... like black hair, black eyes, and yellow skin. I don't know if you've ever noticed but...

I do NOT fit that description. I'm honestly not sure what to call my hair color is these days. (No, I do not dye it... it just isn't red anymore but it's also not really blond or really brown... but it's certainly NOT black.) So anyway, I get stared at a lot because... 1. I do not fit in. 2. They are not used to seeing people that look like me. We (foreign teachers) all often feel like celebrities, in the weirdest way. Lots of people giggle when we greet them and they absolutely love saying to us the one or two or three English words they know.

Little kids are my favorite...
