new routine

A new routine is being established in my life. I'm teaching 8 classes this semester (4 have started so far.) and this is what I do before each one:

1. Go to this room and sign out the keys to my specific classroom. (Two keys for two doors.)

2. Walk up the stairs to whatever floor I am teaching on (2, 3, 4, of 5).

3. Walk to classroom.

4. Unlock doors (not always as easy as it sounds).

5. Flip on the power in the hallway.

6. Flip on the power in the classroom.

7. Turn on the lights and the fans.

8. Turn on my computer and then turn on the students' computers (there's a computer in front of every two students so they can see things I put on their screens).

9. Students come and fill their seats.

10. I teach.

Then when it's all over I have to turn all this stuff OFF again, turn in my key, etc.
